Super Sheppard Steals Billy Whittaker Cars 200 Victory from Batman Britten in Last-Lap Pass


OSWEGO, NY — Oct. 8, 2017 — The Billy Whittaker Cars 200 certainly lived up to the hype. In just over two hours’ time and 200 laps, everyone in attendance at Oswego Speedway for NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week was treated to everything they could have wanted with drama, frustration, heartbreak and celebration. A classic superhero battle between Super Matt Sheppard and Batman Peter Britten brought the crowd to their feet as Sheppard made a bold move on Britten in the last lap to pick up his second NAPA Super DIRT Week victory.

Yetman Makes History with Fifth Straight Super DIRT Week Pro Stock Championship Win


OSWEGO, NY – October 8, 2017 - Castleton, New York’s Rob Yetman made NAPA Super DIRT Week history, becoming the first driver in any division to win five consecutive Championship races as he dominated all 75 laps of the Pro Stock 75 Sunday afternoon at the Oswego Speedway.

“I didn’t think I would ever win one of these, and now we’ve won five in a row,” Yetman said.

Yetman edged fellow front row starter Rich Crane into turn one and never looked back. Crane would go on to lose his fuel cap during a pit stop and never recovered.

Marcuccilli Masters Oswego for Second Consecutive Year


OSWEGO, NY – Oct. 8, 2017 – Dave Marcuccilli proved himself the car to beat by earning the Unique eCigs Pole Award Thursday and put the exclamation point on it Sunday afternoon by leading all 75 laps en route to his second consecutive Chevy Performance 75 Sportsman Modified Feature.

“Obviously, the ultimate goal whenever you race is to win. But to earn the pole and win at Super DIRT Week two years in a row, that’s awesome,” said Marcuccilli, who celebrated his 41st birthday Thursday with a win at Brewerton Speedway.
